Q4 2008 Sales Increase for Health and Safety Products Company

Kidz-Med Inc. Experiences Increase in Sales at Pharmacy Retail Level, Kidz-Med Thermofocus 5-in-1 Debuts on "Fox & Friends"

Weston, FL - February 2, 2009 -- American Scientific Resources (Pink Sheets: ASFX) today announced that pharmacy retail sales alone increased by 38% in the 4th quarter of 2008 compared to the 4th quarter of 2007. The health and safety products company reports that despite the economic recession, since implementing particular offline and online marketing communications and PR strategies, the company's subsidiary, Kidz-Med, has seen a marked increase in sales of the Thermofocus(r) 5-in-1 non-contact thermometer being distributed through one of their pharmacy retail vendors.

Dr. Christopher F. Tirotta, MD, MBA, CEO of American Scientific Resources states, "The Kidz-Med Thermofocus has been available in stores nationwide at the retail pharmacy level since the fall of 2007, and to see such fantastic results is certainly an achievement given in-store promotion was not a contributing sales factor during the fourth quarter of 2008."

He continues, "I am also pleased to report on an additional triumph of which retail pharmacy sales alone more than doubled from November of 2008 to December of 2008. December sales at the retail pharmacy level totaled 4,100 and November sales totaled ,240."

Management remains optimistic of the trend in sales and marketing for its health and safety product lines and expects to continue implementing the current strategies (Q4 2008 retail pharmacy sales alone totaled 6,560 compared to Q4 2007 retail pharmacy sales which totaled 2,440).

The Company's mission is to search the globe for innovative health and safety products not yet available in the American market and introduce, distribute and market them in North America. The health and safety products specialist already distributes several products throughout the United States. (A corporate profile is available at AudioStocks.com.)

Thermofocus 5-in-1, the Company's flagship health and safety product (pictured here), allows parents and doctors to measure the temperature of infants or sick, combative toddlers in a safe, non-invasive, non-threatening way. Because the product works so quickly-in seconds, not minutes as with other thermometers-and it does not have contact with the skin, the Company believes the product will gain widespread acceptance in North America, just as it already has in the UK, Europe and Asia.

As U.S. distributor for the Thermofocus 5-in-1, the Company has already placed the health product at approximately 6,500 Walgreens stores and at various nationwide stores through the largest retail toy and baby products chain in the world.

"Our online and offline strategies have proved advantageous, therefore, management has high hopes of achieving much more success in the future," says Dr. Tirotta.
