Children's Health and Safety Products Company Introduces Educational DVD's and Top European Baby Product
Weston, FL -November 3, 2008-Kidz-Med Inc. (the Company), a subsidiary of American Scientific Resources, Inc. (Pink Sheets: ASFX), today announced that they have added two educational DVD's for children and an innovative European baby product, the Mommy Recorder, to their child health and safety product line. The Company recently announced plans to add these items in the fourth quarter.Dr. Christopher F. Tirotta, board certified pediatric anesthesiologist, and CEO of American Scientific Resources, created and produced the widely acclaimed videos which originally sold thousands of copies across the English-speaking world. The pre-operative video, "A Hospital Trip with Dr. Bip," retailing for .99, explains to youngsters what to expect when they go to the hospital for surgery. "Dr. Bip's New Baby Tips,", retailing for .99, is designed to explain to young children what to expect when their Mom brings home a new baby. Narrated by an endearing animated character, the Dr. Bip series makes learning about these stressful experiences enlightening and entertaining.
The Mommy Recorder, manufactured by Life Tool Technologies S.p.A, is a unique voice-recording device, which allows a mother to easily record a 6-second message designed to calm baby when he or she is upset. Baby's cry activates the message, and will then repeat itself 8 times in order to provide a soothing environment for the child. The mobile device easily mounts to the baby's crib, and duals as a soft night-light, retailing for .95.
Dr. Tirotta states, "We have recently included social media marketing as part of our online strategy, which is essential to creating brand awareness inexpensively, and can lead to receiving large amounts of web traffic. Additionally, the return on investment in the online arena is much higher than selling to mass merchants and chain drug stores. Even though we plan on eventually offering these products to the in-store retailers, we would like to have strong sales evidence to show them first."
"These products are designed to offer a trauma-free solution for child and parent. Competition in the US market is slim for the mommy recorder, therefore, capturing a substantial amount of the market share in the US is certainly a realistic goal for the Company to achieve," notes Dr. Tirotta.
The newly introduced products can be found online at www.kidzmed.com.
Kidz-Med already distributes several products throughout North America in Walgreens, and a specialty baby retailer. The Company continues to source various innovative child health and safety products globally that have not yet been introduced to the US/North American markets which make the lives of children and their parents easier, happier, healthier and safer.
