AMERICAN SCIENTIFIC RESOURCES INC. SIGNS MAJOR CONTRACT AND RECEIVES PURCHASE ORDER FROM LARGEST RETAIL TOY AND BABY PRODUCTS CHAIN IN THE WORLD

(subsidiary of American Scientific Resources Inc. PINKSHEETS: ASFX), is pleased to announce that they have signed a major contract with the world's leading dedicated toy and baby products retailer for the Thermofocus(r) 5-in-1 non-contact thermometer. The packaging process has commenced to include their newly designed packaging intended to help promote sales. This order is expected to ship soon to fulfill this contract.
This world leading dedicated toy and baby products retailer sells merchandise through more than 1500 freestanding destination toy and baby specialty stores worldwide and through its Internet site. Nondisclosure agreements will not allow the name of this major retailer (now in the top 50 within the Forbes listed Reputation Institute Report) to currently be released. The thermometers are expected to be on shelves at select stores in time for the start of the 2008-2009 cough/cold season.
This is an open-ended contract whereby the buyer will be allowed to purchase an unspecified amount of the Thermofocus thermometers from American Scientific Resources Inc. over an extended period of time without any changes in the price or the contract terms. This allows for American Scientific Resources Inc. to position itself to meet future purchase request orders from this large retailer as more financing is made available.
The packaging design will differ from that of its counterpart in Walgreens, catering to the needs of the baby retailer's customers. In addition, a free Kidz-Med(r) medicine dispenser pacifier, valued at .99, will be included in the package with the intentions of encouraging sales by providing an enticing, exclusive combination of innovative, easy to use baby products.
"Sales revenues increased in the second quarter of this year due to the sales of the Thermofocus 5-in-1.
